App Use
Loading the app creates an anonymous account with our backend provider, PlayFab. This account is unique to your device but cannot be reverse-engineered to determine who you are.
The only information recorded when you log in are the city you live in and weather you are connecting via an Android or iOS device. Other information is gathered as you use the app as described below.
Camera Use
Camera data is not sent to Buds of Buds or any third party. Photos taken are stored only on your local drive.
GPS Location
Augle does not track your GPS location. Augle does anonymously send your location to our third-party map provider, Mapzen, in order to build the geomap. Augle does anonymously track when you visit an event mural – which does somewhat send your location.
AR Mural Views
Augle sends a signal to our backed provider, PlayFab, whenever you visit a Mural or other sponsored content. This information is anonymous and is used to indicate total number of visits. Your anonymous account is tagged indicating that you have seen the mural once.
AR Swag Views
AR views on greeting cards, posters, crystal shard, shirts, and similar merchandise are not tracked.
Web Links
Web links clicked while you are using the app are tracked by your anonymous PlayFab account. This is used to determine the total number of unique website visits from our app. The total number of visits is anonymous. Your anonymous playfab account logs that you have visited a website once (in order to determine unique views and not register you more than once)
Votes
Voting during any event logs the vote in a total sum. This information is not tied to your PlayFab account. There is no way to determine who voted on what murals.
